Booking a tourAbout Birdfinders |
It seems like it's back to the good old days with the Isles of Scilly with good numbers of not only rarities but scarce passage migrants being seen. Rarity highlights so far have included American Golden Plover, Western Bonelli's, Greenish, Booted and Sykes's Warblers, Rose-coloured Starlings, American Robin, Red-eyed Vireo and Common Rosefinch, whilst scarce migrants have included Eurasian Spoonbill, Jack Snipe, Mediterranean and Yellow-legged Gulls, Red-breasted Flycatchers, Firecrest, Yellow-browed Warbler, Red-backed Shrike, and Lapland and Snow Buntings. Only Birdfinders visits the Isles of Scilly during the acknowledged peak autumn migration season in the second and third weeks of October each year. Next year we will be offering two weeks again. Don't miss out as these tours invariably fill quickly. |
